Yep, this is what I call shortcutting until I get some real time. While I was running the Thornton for Governor campaign earlier this year, some 40-Year Plans slipped through the cracks.
The great folks over at the Hartford Public Library (h/t Richard Frieder) have posted my columns for me, so I'll just link to them, and hopefully catch up on all the other columns that I didn't post sooner or later.
In general, HartfordInfo.org is a pretty great resource, and I am glad to be able to link to them.

This gem is about two Smart Growth forums I went to this summer.
This column, quoting Public Enemy, discusses some of the problems with the Hartford Police Department this summer. Lately, HPD has been very responsive in dealing with calls on Laurel Street, generally being quick (for HPD) to remove abandoned cars or drive down the street when miscreants run amuck.
Here's some comments on the not-so-great idea to build a high school at the corner of Farmington and Broad Streets.
